Youth Training Courses / Workshops
Red Cross Stay Safe – (6 hour) For youth 9 – 12, Stay Safe teaches decision making, safe choices, being prepared, healthy choices, first aid and problem solving. $65
Red Cross Babysitting Course – (8 hour) For youth 11 – 13, the Babysitting Course teaches leadership, decision making, stages of growth, childcare, age appropriate activities, first aid and safety. $75
Financial Literacy for Youth – (2 hour – multiple day) This course can be offered as a short workshop through to a multi-day course dependent on the desired outcomes. The different module options are:
Goals, Values and Decision-making- Getting and Earning Money
- Spending Money and Taking Control
- Borrowing Money and Using Credit
- Saving and Investing Money
- Protecting Assets and Planning for the Future
Project Wild – Teaching youth about the environment and wildlife through age appropriate activities. Can be taught along with “Leave No Trace” which teaches about care of the environment in when camping/hiking/canoeing in Wilderness settings. Parents/Guardians, you will be asked set up a family account and then you will be able to register for the one or multiple people for the course of your choice.
If you are registering multiple people from one organization, fill out the initial account with your organizational name, then the individual forms for all participants. You will be able to pay individually or one payment for your organization.
